  • Variation on Minority Report

    Started with promise but became episodic finally ending with the killer was hiding behind the curtain ala Agatha Christy, but without her charm to overcome its shortcomings. The poor flow may have been an editing artifact. There is a single chapter where the main character drops someone off a balcony, but nothing before or after fits it into the plot. Two stars for the premise but nothing else to recommend it.

    Took me awhile to get into it but the story was engrossing, the characters were interesting. I feel like it took a little tooooo long to finally get where it was going but all in all it was a good book and definitely had me interested enough to check out the next in the series. Was a cool concept, something I haven't read before, and that's definitely worth something!
